Apply Fatigue Management StrategiesCourse: TLIF1007C

This course is designed for all Drivers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Fleet Controllers who are required to have a working knowledge of the new fatigue laws as they are applied to drivers. This training will provide drivers with the knowledge required wanting to ‘work’ more than 12 hours in any day, regardless of working short or long distance, and who must be formally qualified to this new standard.

Vocational Outcomes

The resulting qualification is recognised by the transport industry throughout Australia and fulfils the requirements to obtain a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

The course will provide graduates with a stand-alone credential as well as streaming into the certificate II and IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport) from the transport and distribution training package TL107.

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Identify and act upon signs of fatigue.
  • Implement strategies to minimise fatigue.

Successful completion of a written assessment will be required.

Course Outline

This course is specifically designed for people currently employed in the transport industry wishing to update their skills or gain accreditation as a driver of heavy vehicles and or buses.

$330 per person (GST exempt)

Award

Students will receive a Statement of Attainment from the Certificate II in transport and logistics (Road Transport) Transport and Distribution package TL 107.

Duration

TMLE allows 8 hours for training in a face–to-face, limited class size environment which allows our trainers to interact with the students on a personal basis allowing us to tailor a course to your company’s needs within the parameters of the course.

Structure

Your course will be conducted by one of our expert instructors in a location that suits you and your team. TMLE allows 8 hours to complete the course.
